In attempt to stabilize the Preds finances, the local investors who own a stake in the Preds are seeking to buy out now disgraced Boots Del Biaggio. Hopefully, this will lead the Preds to be able to spend to retain some of the better players long term. The deal will be for about $10 million less than the purchase price Boots paid to buy his 27% stake in the team.

It's official, the majority ownership of the Preds have bought out Boots. The price was $15.2 million for his shares now placing about 95% of ownership to local owners.
